Is Higher Education Needed?

Many students are always confused whether they have to pursue higher education or go for jobs. First of all we must understand that education gives the ability to judge, think and make correct decisions. It does not mean we have to go to college and study. Even in our surroundings we come across lot of things which may be unique in nature all those may help us make us do the right decisions.

An higher education always makes people to respect and take the person's opinion or decision seriously than a person who doesn't have the qualification. So higher education becomes important and at times even in companies, education profile is considered first and hence a higher qualification means more chances. If the qualification is higher then the views with which a person thinks are also wider and hence more chances of making correct decision. It also becomes easier for accessing Hi-Tech jobs and hence more salary too. Infact in the areas like Research and Development(R&D), an higher qualification is always sought. This gives the opportunity to work on jobs that many people may get to know 10 years later. Also since very less competition as we go higher up the ladder hence more easier to get promotions and so better quality of life.

With all these advantages we gain there are a few sacrifices we may have to give in order to gain. They are Time we spend during the education, entertainments, money etc.
Of course now a days we have oppurtunities through distance education, parttime degrees etc to make our lives easier. But by full time course we can develop certain attitudes that cannot be obtained otherwise in other kinds of education.

In conclusion an higher education gives the credibility of the person and increases the opportunities in high profile jobs. But studying is a continuous process hence we cannot spend all our lives to study. There must be a balance between life and education in order to be successful.
Think before you act.
